I had a lot of fun painting lichen covered rocks that never made it onto the final cover.
The final layout with title placement was done by Maria Sundberg.
Full size illustration before cropping to the actual cover size. I painted it so that the title could be placed either above the character or below, leaving room for the graphic designer to decide on the final layout.
