Commission - Spirit Chanter

One out of several commissioned illustrations for a Dungeons & Dragons homebrew campaign module.

This illustration was great for practicing vibrant colours and light sources.

The characters face is inspired by the amazing blue tounged skink (a favorite lizard of mine)

Palette suggestions for the client to choose from.

For this piece I chose to make a detailed line drawing before rendering to make sure I didn't get lost once I started playing around with light sources and shadows.
